A Big Year for Birthdays

Yesterday my grandma turned 90 (Happy Birthday Nana).

Tomorrow I turn 25 (I am adamant that this is a big one, even if no-one else seems to think so).

My sister is 21 in May (I remember the day she was born, picking ballerina roses from the garden, taking them to the hospital, her so tiny in a green velour all-in-one).

I have been on a cover placement with work this week, and pretty busy, so haven't really got it together to do a last weekend post yet, but Happy March chickens!

  10. Hope you had a lovely birthday! I agree that 25 is a significant one. In fact I always think half-decade birthdays are almost more important than the 'zeros': it's when you start facing up to the next stage of your life ('I can't say I'm in my early _s any more'). Enjoy the next stage! And congratulations to your grandma too.
