Democratic Duty

Tomorrow morning I am waking early to vote before I head to work. It feels like the night before Christmas and the night before a visit to the dentist all rolled into one...

Only the second General Election I have been eligible to vote in, but the mood is one of uncertainty and it seems no-one knows which way it will swing.

  1. We're in Canada, but my husband is from England so we've been watching all the news about it (and all the joking and commentary about it on QI, Have I Got News for You, etc...)

I'm so curious to see how it all turns out. Wishing you a happy election day. May the best candidate win!

  2. I dont remember another election since I have been able to vote where people have talked about it so much as this one. its far more in the general conciousness this time I think.

  4. It is exciting, isn't it? But also a bit scary and uncertain. Your description is perfect!

  5. I know your feeling exactly, I think I feel my vote is more precious this time because everyone is so unsure of where the end result will fall.
