Oh dear, hope you are OK. I will keep everything crossed that the year flies by for you. I hope you have skype so you can communicate whenever you want.
Oh, what a perfectly poignant pair of photos. Poor you. A year! Hope you are making plans to visit Japan at some point? Meanwhile there's always the distraction of blogland...
These are the saddest pictures. I hope you're not feeling too blue and had lots of cuddles to remember before he left xx ps. just discovered your blog and I love it. xx
This is my first visit, so I'm not quite sure who M is yet. Probably should have found out before writing this, but then... maybe the image would loose some of its magic. Because it is, very strong, sad and magical.
Oh Becky, I send you lots of hugs and love. It is frickin awful when the one you love goes away, and a year is a long time. I hope after a few days of wallowing, you are able to adjust and still have lots of fun.
oh lovely, i'm sorry to hear that, cripes, where has the time gone? i hope your heart is not too leaden. your photographs are SO wonderful right now, keep telling us your stories won't you?
You'll get through it! My boyfriend has been in Afghanistan for the past five and a half months and the time flies. Writing proper letters is great, and sending and receiving parcels!
I hate that I'm about to admit this in the public, but here it is: my boyfriend and I are not attached at the hip, and thus - since we're more often apart than together - we instant message eachother often. And the inevitable use of emoticons are abundant, and unfortunately I was once drunk on wine and watching Sleepless in Seattle and probably pmsing, and I used a tear-faced emoticon, and I named him Pierre. Now my boyfriend and I don't even use the tear-faced emoticon, we just say "Pierre" when we want to imply it. That may be the most embarrassing thing I've ever admitted. But nevertheless, Pierre all the way. He'll be back soon.
Those toothbrush pictures brought a tear to my eye, so poignant, they say it all in images. I can't wait for this time next year to see you posting the two toothbrushes back together! Cherry blossom in Japan, skype and your friends, these things will keep you going x
